When I am finishing a braid near the end of the natural hair, the hair always sticks out of the braid. How do I solve this problem?
Most of the time this happens because either the client’s hair is cut very evenly, or the hair is bone-straight. What you can do is have the client wash and condition her hair prior to braiding. Be sure to advise them not to blow the hair dry. Doing so will straighten the hair - and you don’t want that.
