Yes, you can use regular yarn that you would get at a craft store.
Do you need to have your hair relaxed in order to get Micro Braids?
Your hair does not need to be relaxed in order to have Micro Braids. In fact, I recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after your hair has been relaxed before you get it braided again.
Do I use the same method with Two-Strand Twists that is used with Kinky Twists?
Yes, the techniques are exactly the same the hair is different. Kinky Twists are done with a kinky textured hair and Senegalese twists are done with regular synthetic hair.
