    Marquetta, do you think the new Cutting Mastery System will help someone who is not professional? I improvise a lot with clients who have braids or weaves or when I do my wigs but I’ve never been “trained”. BTW, I already ordered the system but I’m just wondering if its going to be difficult for me since I am not a pro.

    Thank you for coming out with the Haircutting System. My husband just ordered it for me yesterday. I have my hair braiders license, graduated with a degree in Cosmetology but the only thing that I have not mastered is haircutting (which has been the road block for me even attempting my cosmetology license). Just have not had the confidence needed because I’ve always felt that once its gone there is no turning back. Thanks again. I will be waiting on the postal service to bring my package so I can get started.

All though I am a work in progress, I know that I will be able to one day reach my goals of becoming a master stylist! I am currently in cosmetology and really in need of cutting skills!     Hello Marquetta…I really hope you reply to my comment after I post this cause I really value your input and advice. First I wanna say, Thank you for sharing your knowledge of doing hair most stylist I’ve run into have a “every man/woman for them self” and I dont take the time to help guide someone who needs some help to reach the next level. I’ve been a big fan of yours for sometime and have purchased a few of your dvd’s…with that said, I love the Cutting Mastery dvd’s that I just purchased. I am a licensed hairstylist but I still lack the confidence in cutting and your dvd’s definitely took me back to the basics which I felt I really didn’t grasp while I was in beauty school which is why I still lack confidence in cutting. BUT now…heres where I definitely need the real guidance when it comes to cutting….after you learn all the basics, and you see a picture or someone describes a cut that they want…where do you begin? That has always been the problem for me…to get my mind and hands in sync, if your following what I’m asking. That would’ve been a great finally to the Cutting Mastery Dvd System….incorporating all the techniques to create a haircut, not that I’m complaining or telling you how to run your show ^.~ but I really need help in that area…”how do I know what is what to achieve the look that I’m going for? ” Marquetta thanks again for your knowledge and experience and for sharing it with me and soooo many others…I am forever grateful and will continue to do whatever it takes to accomplish this dream that I’ve had since childhood ^.~ 1 of your biggest fans ~Lakisha Lee from NYC~
