In honor of completing your tour in the military–Congrats. God is good. and in honor of your huge success with your hair business, how about having 1) coming to Chicago so you can braid my hair–takes about 30 minutes…i have plenty of space you can stay with me (smile) or 2) how about having a meet and greet conference. i’d love to meet you. I don’t do hair, but you can use me as a model (smile). You have helped me so much. Again, Congrats and thank you.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
Understanding the military experience as child of a military father, I can relate to your excitement in leaving the military to pursue the career you really love! I’m excited for you and just wanted to wish you the best from one hair stylist to another. (I’m currently in a career that I hope to retire from soon so that I also can pursue what I love, making people feel beautiful!)
July 20th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
That is good news, getting out is a good thing. You have a successful business, so do you. Congrats!!!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:12 pm
Hello Marquetta
Have no regrets about getting out of the AF. I retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 21 years as a single parent. It was hard, but that was an accomplishment for me. Military isn’t for everyone and if your husband is still in, it’s probably best for one of you to be able to stay home with the kids. You are very accomplished in your business and seem to be doing well, so it’s not like you’re getting out without anything. Plus, you have served your country well, so be proud of yourself and thank you for your service!
If you can do a video with weave and complete closure, that would be great. I have a couple of your videos, my daughter loves practicing on her mannequin while watching them. Thanks, we are behind you all the way. Do your thang girl!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:12 pm
Marquetta,
Congrats on getting out of the Air Force. If you’re happy, I’m happy for you.
Two things…
I saw the sample video clip on individual tree braids and wondered if your also did a video on tree braids with cornrows or is that included on the video that I just saw the sample of?
Two… will you be doing any videos on eyelash extensions, facials or makeup applications?
Thanks for all that you do!
Robin
July 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Congrats to you!!! Getting out is a good thing, you have done your duty. And you have a successful business so now you can chill.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Marquetta, I must say I envy your stamina and your strength. How do you do it? Active duty military and your own business. Let’s not forget about the care of two children. I have been employed in a civilian capacity at the Department of the Air Force for going on 34 years. I feel as though I am ready to retire. I admire your get-up-and-go attitude. I wish you all the best. I know you will excel in whatever you decide to do.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
CONGRATULATIONS!! I agree with the sale or maybe add some how to videos to the insiders club. Just make sure you go out and celebrate with your family and foremost
July 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Hi Marquetta,
Congratulations! Maybe you and I need to get together and celebrated since that date is one day after my birthday.
I will be praying that God will speak to your heart about what it is He would like for you to do.
Thanks a bunch for all the many blessings.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Thank you for your service to our country and I am happy that you are excited.
Right now the thing I see about your products is your prices are not competitive when it comes to your lace wig products. Now that individual lace wig making has become more prevalent, all it takes is a little (some time a lot) of research on the internet to beat your prices, especially on lace and hair. Lots of vendors sell good quality hair these days but what’s difficult to get is the lace and a lot of newbies find it difficult to spend 60$ and upwards for a sqare of lace. It would be nice if you would offer your loyal subscibers special discounts on lace and hair every now and then.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:15 pm
Congratualtions on your decision and the approval as well. I have definetly profited from your videos and would like to see cutting techniques on weave and natural hair. Also do you have a nubian twist and/or a keratin extension video using the micro rings. Be blessd
July 20th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
First of all, CONGRADULATION! I would like for you to make a video on the best way to do a hair net weave. May God Bless You in whatever decision take.

50% off the Complete Training Package.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Hi Marquetta! I’m so happy for you, I was there about 3 years back, and I chose my family, so now my hubby is still in for the career and I am home with our children doing hair in my spare time, when I can…lol! I know that you will never regret this, and may God continue to bless you as you have blessed all of us! Also, if I would’ve known that you were stationed there, I would’ve paid you a visit when we came down. My brother Elgin used to be stationed there! May your business continue to thrive! Much love to you,
Shardae
P.S.
Whatever is on your heart to do, what you wanted to consider b4 you even made the video, b/c we know you considered for yourself…lol…best wishes!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Congratulation on whatever you decide to do.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Marquetta, that is fabulous!! I served 10 years active duty in the Army and did the same thing you’ve done, applied for the early out because my MOS was over strength. Got a nice piece of change for getting out and to this day, the best decision I’ve ever made… Congratulations!! I know that you will continue to do big things with your online business and I pray for your highest good!. Be blessed and much prosperity and abundance wherever you turn.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:19 pm
Marquetta, Congratulations that is great news! I do agree with you if you have a dream follow your heart. What I would like to see you doing, hands on training with you doing some seminars in the near future. I will be the first to sign up. Much continued success to you Marquetta.
God Bless
July 20th, 2009 at 12:19 pm
Did you do a video on tree braids yet?
July 20th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Congrats Marquetta….That was so new that u served in the Airforce…thumbs up!!!On the other hand….i think its great that yo gonna devote yo time to wat u do best.It will be a pleasure havn u to personally address our questions.I think yo personal assistant does a great job too…but we would love yo personal touch.Have the time of yo life!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
I would like to see you focus on the insiders club. I purchased that for $100 a few years ago because it stated “lifetime membership with free updates and upgrades” but has not been updated since I joined. You sent out an email a while back talking about how you haven’t forgot about us but you really have. Many online marketers sell memberships to such and NEVER update. This makes me regret my purchase. I’d like to see some videos from your recent collection, the scratch n dent would’ve been perfect and the lace wig training. Also what about a special pricing on Vellusia for the Insiders Club. You could really promote the Insiders Club for new memberships while including the suggested above. Nevertheless, I am happy that you get to spend more time focusing on your business. Good luck MB!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
Praise the Lord /. May he continue to bless, keep, protect, and guide you and your family. Keep up the great work Marquetta.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
Im sorry, you do have a video on tree braids. Can’t think of anything sweetie
July 20th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
I had no idea that you were active duty. I have really just been overwhelmed by the talent that you have with hair. The sky is the limit for you now that you have the opportunity to become full time with the gift and knowledge that you have with hair. Go for it. And don’t have any regrets on the decision that you make. God Bless and much success.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
Hi Marquetta,
Congratulations!!! I think you should either do a Marquetta hair school or expand you online business. Whatever you do it will be a success because you put your heart into it.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
I think it is awesome that you were able to get out of the AFB. It is great to be with family and family comes first. I think it is also great that you can devote your time and energy to your business. God works in mysterious ways. We don’t always know why, but glad you followed your heart. Keep up the great work!!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Wow, you did it! What you’ve done is what I’ve been trying to do for years now. I don’t know how to let go of my other job. It’s really frustrating to feel caught between a rock and a hard spot. I really wish we could discuss it, for you to give me some of your courage:+)) I love doing hair and have so for 17 years now. I’ve been professional for almost 4 with hopes of opening my own salon. What’s holding me back…..the economy, simply said. Not sure of what’s gonna take place once I make the change. So maybe you can share some of the deciding factors that it took for you to make the change.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
God Bless!Everything you do is always on point. So for me more Lace weaving the one where you lock the hair in the net. Again Be Blessed
July 20th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Hey I think with the Gift that you have with hair. I think that you should teach others how to do hair. Be Blessed.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Thank you for putting your life on the line you and your husband just so that we can continued to have freedom in the USA. I too was a single mother for many years and it is a great sacrifice to become an unselfish mother as well as an unselfish wife. Congratulations for following the dream God has given you to “help people” with their hair problems. Marquetta, what will you have for the “Silver Foxes” out here who love their salt and pepper, silver, and white hair. We to like extensions, braiding and lace front weaves but we want to look as “naturelle” as possible. Don’t forget about us. We love to look glamorous and fabulous. So help some sistas out.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Congradulations! This is wonderful news for you and your family. My only suggestion would be to take time for yourself and family first. Send a couple weeks just thinking about what you want for your business before embarking on anything new. We will be here.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
Congratulations on leaving the military!! I wish you the best of success.
I would like you to add instructional videos to the insider club. That ‘club’ has been a BIG disappointment to me. Nothing has been added for almost 2 years.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:27 pm
Congratualations Marquetta,
It is Gods glory and your blessing to have the opportunity to pursue your dream. I commend you for all that you are doing and have done, being a single parent, committing to your aspirations, and serving your country.
I like your hair on that video, what type of hair is that! Give us ideas on different types of hair for weaving.
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!
July 20th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Wow! Congratulations! I did 11 1/2 years in the Army in 1991. I got out after having my son. Dual military deploying leaving 2 children. I couldn’t do it. At least you had a start and a prosperous business. I did not know that you were active. Even though I haven’t purchase anything from you yet, I feel and see your compassion. You are not selfish in sharing your gifts. I have natural hair. Maybe different hair styles, products to take care of it.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
Congrats!!! That is wonderful, I know you will do very good.
I would like to see more Compilation Cornrow style. I have the one DVD. Thanks.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
Congrats Marqetta I’m sure to be able to devote your full time to your family and business will be a wonderful change, I would like to see more information on how to regrow thinning hair along with a sample kit of products (sm 2/4 oz bottles)priced right.
Thanks Have Blessed Day

July 20th, 2009 at 12:31 pm
Honey,
Congrats. I don’t know you personally but I can just feel your joy and your sigh of relief. I am resently retired from the Army (20 yrs) and a single mom of two for the majority of my military career so I know first hand what you and your fam had to sacrefice. I suggest that you first do something just for YOU. Take time to just rejoice and thank the Lord. I have been rejoicing for a year now, lol. And next I personally would like to see step by step instructions for operating an online biz. I just feel that God is about to enlarge your territory. I just hope you are not leaving SC but I don’t want to be selfish, lol.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
Congratulations Marquetta!
All I can say is that I am very happy for you! God has blessed you with a tremendous gift and I can see how He is moving you forward in that gift. Girl, you should do Hair Show/Braid Tour! Marquetta,
I wish you much success in your future. I love the fact that you had the foresight to come up with this idea (your business). There is nothing better than doing something that you love. I think getting out of the AF is a good idea, as long you have a plan for healthcare. You may not worry about it now, but it matters in the future. Good luck and God bless! As for ideas, if you come up with a video on how to arrange locs into a style (updo, etc), I would be so excited.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:45 pm
Congradrulations from the netherlands.

July 20th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
I would like to see you do something for the seniors who have all grey hair and would like to still look beautiful. My mom takes alot of medicines and her hair has fallen out at the top. I cut her hair into a short hair cut and was wondering if you have any suggestion regarding this situation. She do not like to wear wigs because she gets over heated fast. I have went into the hair stores to find grey syntatic hair and there are little or none to be found. Do you have grey hair that I can braid or sew in. Please let me know. Thanks
July 20th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
First, Congrats I, myself just retired from the Navy & I was a single parent the whole time. (Beauty /Barber Supplies and products)Also are there any tricks to cutting time in half or shorten time on weaves and braids without compromising the hair style?
July 20th, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Since you’re in the industry of making people look fab…You should think about the make-up industry. Your make-up looks very nice in the video posted above. Nice hair and make-up you can’t go wrong with that…
July 20th, 2009 at 12:57 pm
Dear Marquetta, everyday I learn something more wonderful about you.Thank you for protecting us and keeping us safe. If you are happy then I”m happy for you. Take some time off and smell the roses. Then get back to doing what you love to do. I am a single mother, however my son is now 20yrs old and will be entering his 3rd year of colleage in August if the Lord is willing. You are right it is not easy. But I have found by puting everything in Gods hands and leave it there things work out, and dreams come true by keeping the faith.May God continue to bless and keep you and your family.I hope to meet you someday soon.

Hi Marquetta. Just wanted to say congratulations on your early retirement. I wish you God’s best as you venture fully into your love affair with BraidsByBreslin, lol. I am so happy for you too.
What I would like is for you to make a dvd on invisible boxed braids. I think that’s the term. It’s boxed braids where you cannot see where the extension hair meets with the natural. It actually looks like your own hair braided out. I really want to know how to do that.
Hope to see you make this one pretty soon and waiting for your email notifications as usual. Again, all the best to you nad your family.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:00 pm
Congrats to you, and I am looking forward to seeing all the info you will be providing to your viewers.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:00 pm
Congrats to you and being able to follow your calling. I live in the UK, i don’t think there’s easy access to your products. Anyway, I would be grateful for some tips on how to care for my three year old daughter’s hair, how to keep it moist and help it grow.
Wishing you every success and all the best.

First I want to thank you and your husband for the sacrifices you made for this country and for all who reside in it. You are NOT a quitter, you are someone who made a choice…and you chose your family and your business. There aint nuffin’ wrong with that!
You have done so well with educating the masses on creative hair designs and on hair care. I appreciate it so much that I became a Lifetime Member last year! And now that I’m re-starting my business, I find the fringe benefits valuable.
My only suggestion is to update the Insiders Club videos and information.
Again, thank you for all that you have done for us as a member of the Air Force and as a business entrepreneur. You are proof positive that “each one teach one” is a model to success. Blessings to you and your family!

Will there ever be a special sale for hopefuls like me who wishes more training, and particularly from you? One of my favorite quotes (While I Breathe, I Hope) Hopeful.

July 20th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Hello Marquetta, congratulations on your new transition. I have 2 siblings in the military also so I commend you for the time that you have put into serving our country. With all of this free time you’ll now have I think it would be to the benefit of us if you would first start with a tour, maybe doing some face to face, hands on training seminars. Maybe even consider opening a school. You’re a great entrepreneur so I’m sure you’d do well with it. I hope that gives you some ideas as to the multiple opportunities you now have.May God bless you with whatever you decide just remember to put him first and he’ll definately guide your footsteps. Take care.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
I wish you the best of success with your dreams and future endeavors Marquetta. I’d like to see videos on hair styles and cutting techniques. Especially the cutting techniques. The hair is one length, which is pretty, but to learn the technique of cutting it in different styles would be marvelous!…
July 20th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
I CELEBRAT YOU AS GOD LEAD YOU TO YOUR DREAMS
I LIKE TO HERE FROM YOU BECAUSE ITS FROM YOUR
HEART IAM EXCITYED FOR YOU AND IAM GOING TO GET YOUR
tRAINING SYSTEM SO YOU BE BLESSED.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:45 pm
Congratulations! You further confirm to me that we can do whatever we desire to do once we set our mind to it.
I am working on training how to braid hair and producing the vedio by myself too. Do you have any advice for me?
As a trainer, do I need any kind of license to do that apart from my busniess license? I am a solely hair braiding practiotioner. I do not do chemicals.
Once again, congratulations and I wish you the best.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:46 pm
Congratulations Marquetta! Thank You for your service and dedication. I recently had to cut my hair off due to damage and its short. I have no idea what to do with it because I am use to just wrapping it. I tried getting braids and I was told it had to grow some more so I need a style.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
July 20th, 2009 at 1:50 pm
You are such an inspiration. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have about a year left on my contract before I get out and it feels good now so I can only imagine how excited you are. I have all of your products (including all of the old videos from 06). The only thing I would like to see is hair cutting and styling videos. You have the market cornered on hair style video instruction and cutting/styling is the only thing that hasn’t completely dried up the competition.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:51 pm
Marquetta, I’m lhcf member and just brought your DVD it’s great. I did not know you were Air Force and definately know how hard it is. I’m single parent and retired 3 years ago, just to know you had four full time: mom, wife, Air Force and Breslin jobs is commendable!
July 20th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
Congratulations Mrs. Breslin! I commend you on following your dreams. I have just recently decided to work towards following my dreams so I know how excited you are. I think I would like to see you do a sew in and close in the top. Thanks for everything and all of your tips!

July 20th, 2009 at 1:53 pm
Hi Marquetta first off congrats on getting out of the air force and following your dreams. God is great isn’t he! I just wanted to send you well wishes and to see if maybe you can do a sale on your vitamins and more education info on how to take care of our hair when its breaking and thinning and we need 911 emergency help to repair the damage we once did to our hair from years of doing it all wrong. Also being a single parent is harder than anyone can imagine and i’d rather be at a job than raising kids alone but i love them so much and that’s why i stick in and do the best i can. God bless!
July 20th, 2009 at 1:55 pm
First and foremost, thank you for 9 1/2 years of service. I am prior service Air Force myself, and a Navy wife. I know the difficulties you speak of. Becoming an inpromptu “single” parent is no joke. I am happy that you will now have the time to focus more on your true love, HAIR! I agree with some of the other comments, a huge bundle with all of your products would be great. Also cutting and styling techniques are a must. What better way to take a beautiful weave to the next level, than having a great cut. Most people are fearful of cutting, including myself, so this would be a great addition to your family of videos. Also I was thinking that maybe a “Tips and Tricks” compilation. Many of your videos include styles that some of us have mastered, and just knowing those tips and tricks could greatly improve our technique, cut styling time, and expand our business. Whatever you decide to do I know that it will be great for everyone. Keep on keeping on and God bless.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
YAY YOU!!!!! Thanks for you dedication in the Service. I would like to see a basic manual of some sort about how to maintain/treat/manage your own hair. Dont know if volumes will be the best way to handle this (You know best about that). How does one maintain natural hair or relaxed hair, some suggestions on what products that work well with certain hair types. Also ‘troubleshooting tips’ like hair breakage, constant split ends, scalp problems. Of course there are others but I hope you get the gist of what I trying to say. Congrats to you again!!!!!!!!
July 20th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
congrats!!! may the lord continue to direct ur path.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
you have some much wisdom about hair i would of never known you were in the military, i believe that’s a sign of where you should be that you were release from it cause, because through you, you have empowered me so that i can live my dream that i thought was over and i now “think bigger” than i ever thought. So i believe your heading in the right direction.

July 20th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Congratulations and God bless your family and future. Please provide insight, training, and information on starting a business like yours (web-based) and tips on how to handle/treat permed hair for weaves and braids. Thank you for you dedication and exellence.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Dear Marquetta:
Congrats on your exit from the service. I am really glad you asked us for an opinion on what you should do to celebrate and for awhile i have wanted to ask you do a braid and makeup application for the sista girl.
July 20th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Congrats!!!!! Marquetta
I grew up as an Air Force military dependant. My father served 27 yrs in the Air Force, My sister, brother and I had the opportunity to live all over the United States and Europe (Germany and England). I saw the hardships that Military life caused families. I also saw the good. I as a military dependant loved the life. My mother I think suffered the most, packing and unpacking, meeting and leaving new friends, and never having the chance to follow her dreams. However, I choose not to marry military. I wanted to follow my dreams, and I did, I became a Flight Attendant. Follow your dreams Marquetta. Life is very short and before you know it, your children will be grown and gone. You will then ask yourself, what did I do with my life. You then will say to your self. I have no regrets. I did everything that I wanted to do. (smile) Good luck!!

Hey girl! I am so jelous. My contract in the Navy is so long I don’t even count how much longer I have. LOL I know you know what thats like.
Well I want to commend you for having such a full time site as a mom, wife, and full time airman. To see you do it and do it well is an encouragement to me to say the least.
You go girl!
As far as what to do with your new found freedom I think you should do a training class were a client will buy the video and do the braids and email you the pics or show you via video and you critique it. You could even do it live via Yahoo msgr or some outlet like that. Make it affordable though and pick me as your beta test group
Congrats!
~Ebb
ps. I really haven’t seen anyone quite that excited btw.lol

Congraulations MB!!! We are all sharing in your happiness! With God on your side all things are possible and I’m happy that you are able to devote your time to doing the things you love! God bless you for all that you are doing for us who are willing to learn and gain new ideas in the hair industry! The one thing I’m desperate to see is How to do a full head weave with a sew in close at the top. You have shown us how to use a closure, and how to use our own hair to cover the top, But you have yet to show us a sew in close with the weave. I would greatly appreciate that because many of my customers are waiting for me to learn it. Thank you and God bless you Richly!

July 20th, 2009 at 2:21 pm
First I’d like to say God Bless and Thank You to both you and your husband for serving our country unselfishly.
God truly does answer prayer! Congratulations to you and your family!

please show us brizillian weaving with the elastic thread
July 20th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Congrats Marquetta!
I would like to see you develop or recommend a hair care line that really meets the needs of women who wear weaves or braids, but who want to take care of their own hair, keeping it healthy and GROWING!! They are so many out there! In your vast experience, what would be best for the person wearing braids or a weave or lace front that would protect, support and strengthen their own hair while going through the growing out phase? If you would recommend or develop something like that, it would be great!
July 20th, 2009 at 2:23 pm

Congratulations Marquetta. Would you be teaching more braids styles other than the ones that you already have on dvd? How about a dvd that has tree braiding, more cornrow styles, weaving styles and just different kinds of braids?
Do you do dreads, dreads maintainence, twist out for natural hair. flat twist, ponytail cornrows.. I know I am asking for a lot but believe me I would buy those dvds…
Take care and love you
God bless
July 20th, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Hello Marquetta and Congrats to you!!!!
I have done everything right-use the right products, take vitamins, and eat healthy. Unfortunately, my hair is still shedding and thinning. Even though it is about 6 inches in length, I would like to have longer and healthier hair. I now wear a full wig everyday to enhance my overall appearance. Everyone think it is my natural hair-even my husband do not know the difference. Without it, I look much, much older than 55. Wearing a wig, I am told I could easily pass for late 30’s. I would like to wear my own hair and feel good about it. I would like to see a video on clip in extensions. Thanks!
July 20th, 2009 at 2:53 pm
Thank you so much and congrats! Can you create or recommend something we can use that will help keep our hair healthy and looking nice when growing out of a perm. My daughters and I have not had any perms for the past few yars
July 20th, 2009 at 2:54 pm
Congratulations..Well done. I would like learn more about cuting (with a scissors and a razor) and styling weave. May God countinue to bless you and may you countinue to be a blessing to others.

Congratulation !! Now its time to open your beauty school. I’m waiting for more videos : hair color, cut , style, eyelashes etc
Good luck Maquetta
July 20th, 2009 at 2:59 pm
Marquetta, I’m happy for you that you got out of the military. How can I get the hairstyle you are wearing in this video? It is very becoming. I would like to see 1) hairstyles for face types (my face is round like yours) and 2) I would like see a video featuring how to re-style old wigs i.e., cutting them with the right tools. I hate to throw them away when I still can get some use out of them. Thanks!
July 20th, 2009 at 2:59 pm
Congrats to you! I know what it is like. I am a single parent going to grad school. Its hard work but worth it. How about a DVD on wig repair?!
July 20th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Congratulations! What I’d really like to see is a discount on the Vellusia hair. I’ve wanted to purchase the hair ever since you emailed us the video link but I feel $99 for one pack of hair is a little expensive considering most women would need to purchase two packs at the least. Will you please consider marking the Vellusia down? Even if its for a few days like you’ve done before. Thank you!
July 20th, 2009 at 3:16 pm

Congrats! I would like to see more hair cutting and styling tips. U go girl!
July 20th, 2009 at 3:32 pm
Marquetta, you have been such a blessing and inspiration to so many people, and your business has been a witness to how much GOD will give you the increase when you put him first. I would love to see you devote a video to natural hairstyles for those of us who have chosen to “go natural” either by doing the “big chop” or by letting all the chemically treated hair grow out. I’ve seen demos of finger twist, straw sets, and twist out styles, but I would love to see your take on it. You have a way of delivering information like no one else. GOD Bless

July 20th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
I am happy for you and all your success.
However, I have been wanting to ask about how to do a partial silk wig. I don’t want a package. I only want information on this, a partial wig. My hair is bare/thin in the front and sides, but the rest is health hair. I want a video on how to put a partial in that will make my hair look nature. I want to wear the hair style that I can washed and rodded. I looked great the last time I tried this a few years ago, but because I didn’t know how to work with tight curly hair, I ended up taking out hunks of hair. I haven’t done it since. But because I want to go nature, and people loved it on me, I want to try it again. Will you also give me suggestions on how to wash and comb my hair out so I don’t rip it out this time. Thanking you in advance.
July 20th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Hi MB, I never would have thought that you had time for anything else but hair – Big congrats to you. I would love to know how to cut and style the lace wigs once i make them. I have rently bought the lacewig training system, watched all the videos and now begining to purchase items to start practicing. I often wonder how I would cut the wig into a style (one thing I cant master). Also, is there any plans of you starting a franchise anytime soon?? Keep up the good work. its not often that you see someone willing to share their knowledge without holding back a little bit. You have let it all out and we need more people like you. Thanks a lot for all that I have learnt in a short space of time.
July 20th, 2009 at 3:49 pm
Congrats and continue doing what you do with braidsbybreslin
my suggestion in maybe think about opening a school or having a couple classes a month to teach your braids and or weaves etc. maybe some people are hands on vs watching a video. Thanks again for the videos and serving our country.
July 20th, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Congrats to you and your family, seek and you shall find…wow that’s great that your following your dreams. I worked in a place for over 17 years and I was ready to let go because I was not growing anymore, but it was good job so it was hard to leave I prayed and ask God for His guidance, if this is what you want me to do strip me from all my clients so I know this your will. So He did slowly my clients started to move to different jobs and moving away little by little so I gave notice to the company that I worked for many years they were sad to see me leave because I was a good worker, and I was sad to leave because I grew up there I started working there when I was 17 years right after high school. Well now I’m 38 years old now and have two children and have my own business now for about 3 years and it’s a small business but I’m successful because of the Grace of God, I guess when you to listen to God I believe everything works out for the best. Now my husband is in barber school cause he lost his job 8 months ago and couldn’t find anything out there so now he’s changing his career and joining me who’s better than that my husband is my best friend and my partner, I give all the Glory and Praise to You my Lord. Well God bless You in your new venture I believe that what ever God does in your life it will bless you beyond anything that you can ever imagine, you go girl much love from Long Island,New York. Hope to meet you one day your such an inspiration!!!!!

July 20th, 2009 at 4:08 pm
Blessings to you! Congrats on following your passions in life and just continue keeping God first! Well, I have naturally curly hair, and I’ve always kept my hair in a ponytail. Now, I’m seeing a little thinning in the top of my head, my edges are short, and it’s getting shorter in the middle from always keeping it in a ponytail. I don’t know what to do with my hair, and I’ve talked to many other women with my hair type that have the same problem. Some older women I see with my hair type are very thin in the top or even bald, and I don’t want that to happen to my luscious locks. But, it takes like 3 hours to flat-iron it, and once I get in the shower or sweat it gets poofy. I love my hair, but I just don’t know what to do with it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
July 20th, 2009 at 4:11 pm
Hello, Marquetta,
First congratulations! It times to move forward and thank you for sharing. I have no suggestions at this time but I would like to know more about natural hair styles. wHAT EVER YOU CHOOSE TO DO………..LET GOD GUIDE, hIS WAYS ARE PREFECT.
July 20th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
First I want to say Congratulations to you and I am so happy for you. I think that you should stay prayerful about your final decision on what to do and also you are so talented that maybe you can create a oil or conditioner or something to help people’s hair to grow and also maybe you can open a school teaching young people how to do different braiding styles. I know that you have the different videos but your own school of braiding would be awesome. Have the people that you have taught already be some of your workers and teachers. Whatever you decide to do I will stay in prayer for you. God Bless you and let me know what happens.
July 20th, 2009 at 4:23 pm

July 20th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
First of all I would like to say Congratulations on your achievement and success. Believe it or not my dream was to go into the Airforce but I injured my knee so that dream I wasn’t able to follow. I have a question to ask I have a 14 year old daughter her hair has totally came out in the back from the neck line straight up the middle. She never had any kind of chemicals in her hair I’m getting her hair braided everytwo weeks I shampoo it use reconstructor on her hair and use a leave in conditioner in her hair now. I also keep her ends clip what else do you recommend I do to help her hair grow. Long thick hair runs on my side of the family and my hair was down the middle to my back until I cut it up to my shoulders because I got tired of putting it in a single ponytail. I myself haven’t had any chemicals in my hair since 1988 due to my hair broke up real bad due to chemicals. I use the liquid doo grow stimulating growth oil. Do you recommend anything else please help us in getting her hair to grow down her back like mine. Keep following your dreams and your heart. May God Bless you in everything you do

Hooah, from one military wife to another as well as you being a soldier..Congratulation on your decision and the approval..I know it was a big deal. I know I haven’t purchased any products, but I read all the e-mails and you’re doing such a wonderful job. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate you and your husband as well as all the members of the armed forces, which includes my husband as well. Now about the video, great job. What i would love to see is you travel to some of the other military installations and teach seminars on hair care for the wives that go overseas and are not able to find beauticians. alos to help the bi-racial parents care for there childrens hair. It really gets expensive trying to find someone to care for the entire families hair. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my comment.I know it’s a little lengthy. Love you Marquetta and praying that God will continue to use you in a mighty way..
July 20th, 2009 at 5:02 pm

God placed an angel over our country and it was you.
Marquette, thank you for serving our country and doing all that you could do to make sure that we(the USA) stayed safe.
I don’t know what you did in the Airforce, But whatever it was thank you for giving up 91/2 years of you life to make sure that we were safe.
One suggestion that I have is that you create a course for those of us in Charlotte who want to be certified in braiding.
It would give us a little more clout with our clients and peers.
Thank you also for putting this information out there for us. There is no reason why anyone that has the DVD’s and other materal that you have created can’t make a good living.
Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!
We will continue to pray for your husband, you and your family.
God Bless,
Portia M.

Hello Marquetta and congratulations; We all appreciate you for all you have done for us in teaching us how to care for our hair.I must admit I’m not all that good at braiding and being creative with the styles that I see so I was wondering if you ever thought of having a franchising of schools that teach other in person what you have taught on your DVDs. Maybe one in each city like here in Milwaukee or Chicago. It was you that further inspire my daughter to go to cosmetologist and I thank you very much for that. Hola Marquetta! I can’t begin to express how happy I am for you! Following your heart isn’t always the easiest thing to do. So I commend you on your courage. I came across your lace front clip on Youtube about 2 weeks ago and said to myself “She looks familiar”. Then it hit me. A few years ago I saw one of your braiding videos at a cosmetology school that I was teaching at. You and your business has grown and progressed by leaps and bounds and I wish you, your business, and your family continued success. P.S. I received a sample of the Vellusia Inddian hair and its lovely. I think I might order some as well as our lacefont training system i the near future.
July 20th, 2009 at 7:21 pm
I would like to see what you have to offer on setting up our business from start to finish.

July 20th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
Congrats to you. I am hoping to order your training packet real soon. I think that this will increase my hair experience. I love cutting and color but I do not just want to limit myself to that. My question is if I order the training packet does the lace front wig DVD come with that? If not what is the additional cost? I figure if hair is going to be an additional career I might as well learn it all. Once again, Congrats and much thanks – Joann
July 20th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
First of all, congratulations!!!!! I am so happy for this positive life change that is happening for you and your family. To answer your question, I would like to see you create a video on how to make videos. Your production quality is so great, and I am looking to make videos myself, so I would love a step by step how to for the beginner.
July 20th, 2009 at 7:44 pm
Hi Marquetta,
I learned something new about you today. I think you are GREAT! I truly appreciate you and your husband’s military devotion, my prayers are with you.
Now, Congratulations on your Air Force Retirement
, as well as, a new energy surge to devote more time to your business.
I would like to see more holistic skin care and hair products. For example, products without preservatives, minerals oils, or detergent soaps. Good skin and hair products should be edible. That edible hair and skin products improves suppleness, and overall health of the skin. For example, extra virgin organic coconut oil, olive oil, wheat oil, almond oil, and all natural shea butter to name a few. In other words, if it is edible, and you’re not allergic to the product, it’s more likely to be good for your body too.
I’m sure you will come use your God given talents to extend product offerings in this area too.
Love ya!
Keep doing a great job
You’re a Great Role Model

Hi Marquetta. I just want to thank you for sharing so much of yourself with all of us. I too am a hairstylist and I know how important it is to have support when we choose to follow our hearts against all odds to do what we love. Your life experiences have truly been an inspiration to me.
I am thankful that our Heavenly Father has kept you and your family safe during the time that you were enlisted in the Air Force and I share your happiness for the blessing of being able to retire early. Thank you so much much for all of your sacrifices.
Although I am very grateful that you are willing to share something special with us, I am not sure what I would like for you to offer but whatever you decide I know that it will be great.
Thank you once again and please keep up all of your good work.
July 20th, 2009 at 9:16 pm
Congrats and more freedom to do what you really love. I would like to see if you would allow your customers to pick up to five DVD’s of their choice and give them a one time only price, something just for your followers and current customers. I think that would be great for someone interested in styles they would most likely be able to profit from in their city.
Thank you and enjoy every minute of your successful and helpful business.

Hi, my daugter is 9 years old and use to have long thick beautiful hair. Now she is going through this thing where she is plucking her hair out from the roots leaving slick bald spots. It looks a hot mess! She doesn’t want me to cut it all off even and its not long enough to braid. HELP!!
July 20th, 2009 at 10:01 pm
First, Congrats on all your success. You put in the hard work and its paid off. I have to admit I havent been financially able to purchase any videos as of yet but I am encouraged with the emails of free information you provide. If and when I am able to make the video purchases, you see, I am in cosmetology school so I do want to take advantage of the learning you offer. Aside from the videos you already have, it would be interesting if you could do a video on cutting hair techniques, that would be something to look for!
July 20th, 2009 at 10:05 pm
Congrats on your release. I would like for you to do a dvd on locs and twist. Thanks again and be blessed
July 20th, 2009 at 10:05 pm
Hi Marquetta,
Congratulations on all of your endeavors, especially on your discharge. I can definitely relate. I served 15 years in the Army and was discharged from Active duty in 2004, only to turn around and enlist in the AirForce Reserve in 2007. I am currently inactive awaiting my discharge in 2010. Anyway, on to business. I was wondering if you are a licensed cosmetologist? Just curious. Also, I would like to know what type of hair do you use or recommend for tree braids? I am wearing Bantik hair and it does really well for about 3 weeks and then starts to tangle etc. The biggest turn off is that it cannot be wet.
July 20th, 2009 at 10:11 pm
Hi Marquetta CONGRATULATS on your early retirement from the AF!And I wish you and yours God’s Blessing and guidance always and in all things. July 20th, 2009 at 10:42 pm
Thanks for serving and protecting our lives. (standing and bowing with much honor and appreciation). I would love to see you demonstrate doing various cut styles and layered looks. I am very very hesitant to do those but want too. I would love to learn how to turn my scissors and get various styles and tapers. I would also like to see you do step by step videos on how to do many different hairstyles and how to achieve them such as updo’s and just different hair styles in general. It would help many of us who are starting out perform different up-to-date hair styles. Thanks for taking the time to even provide the education many of us needed.
July 20th, 2009 at 10:43 pm
Congrats! Doing what you love is very rewarding,so I applaud you. I hope that God will guide you with this venture.

Once again congratulations, and I hope the best for you and your family.
July 20th, 2009 at 10:44 pm
oooops again it would be extremely helpful if you carried everything (from A to Z) that we would need to make the silk hairpieces. I would love to be able to shop in one place and get the ventilating needles, heads or blocks, the device to seperate the hair or pull from and the just everything needed including the adhesives. thanks for asking our opinions.

July 20th, 2009 at 11:16 pm
Congratulations! I never knew that you were in the service. I my self have been in the Army National Guard for 5 years and like you I had hopes of staying in and doing 20. I ETS next year Sept. 7, 2009. What changed my mind about staying in was my deployment to OIF 07-08. It wasn’t a bad experince, but it also wasn’t the best. Being overseas give me a chance to figure out what I wanted out of life and what I needed to do to get there. I always wanted to open my own business and I loved to do hair. When I got back I switched my majors to cosmetology and general business. I knew that school wouldn’t teach me everything that I wanted and needed to know to start a successful business so I went in search for answers. The day I found your website was a blessing from God. I want to say “THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU!” for opening up a door to helping to start me own my way. There are many things I would like you to tape, but lately I’ve been getting people who want me to do humps with mohawks and dread locks. Could you do a video on how to do mohawks and one on the proper way to start dread locks. Again Congrats! and Thanks for all that you do for us.

I did purchase one online and it sheds really bad. I would love to make my own. If your prices were a little lower I could purchase one.
You be blessed and let your heart lead you in to making your decision.
Again Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 20th, 2009 at 11:55 pm
Well, let me start by saying you look dazzling as always and congadulations on your release of active duty. God sees everything and he is truly guiding you through and blessing you and your family; however, maybe this is an opportunity to share more time with family and friend; furthermore, with yourself. Whatever you decide I’m sure it will be an success through the grace of god… I would love to see you open a “Beauty School” in New York City, where interested people (male or female) can learn and receive hands on training. Although, the process may take time, money, plenty of effort and patience it would truly bring your career to another level. In addition, you would be helping the economy by employing people and providing educational resources to striving inspiring beauticians and barbers. In New York there are limited beauty schools to choose from and not many high schools offers cosmetology. Therefore, you should really think about bringing Braids by Breslin to NYC—it would be worth it! Not everybody learns the same. Well, good luck and stay motivated (GOD BLESS).JH
July 20th, 2009 at 11:57 pm
Hey I understand what you went through during the deployments and moving from place to place. My husband is currently in his 8th year and trying to complete 20. I plan to stick with him the whole way, but CONGRATS to you for your completion. I pray that you continue to be blessed and May God be with you. I was wondering if when you have conrows do you do them yourself and if so how do you do them? Also I’m going natural after years of perms and braids too tight have pulled and damaged my hair severly. I was wondering which braids and or products would be best for growing out my hair into the bigger, thicker, lengthier, healthier afro I’m looking for? Again congrats and Good Luck.
July 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

congratulations on your approval for retiring from the air force.Did not know you were in the air force. How do you find the time to do what you do? I would like to learn more on different techniques on cutting hair in different styles and learning how to do hairstyles. I’m very new to this hair business. I appreicate your eagerness in helping people who are just starting out in this business or who just want to learn. thanks a million. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
July 21st, 2009 at 12:14 am
First of all, thanks for the time served with the USAF protecting ou country. You’re quite an inspiration.
Secondly,as for what I’d like to see you to do is start a beauty school. That way you can teach hands on vs video. You could add makeup application and skin care. There are so many women that would benefit from training. As you know, this is a billion dollar industry.
Last but not least, I think that you should write a lesson plan and teach continuing education classes.
July 21st, 2009 at 12:17 am
Hi,girl..

Hello again, Another thought I found would be helpful for those of us who bought your lace wig training kit (“Big Ole box of stuff”). It would be great if you would do video updates to your lace wig training dvd’s and post them in your members only section. Such as; how to do a triple reverse knot, how to neatly incorporate stretch lace or galloon in the cap construction and when it is best to use those techniques, how to add a silk base for invisible knots, how to do invisible knots, etc. I recently purchased the kit (6 dvd’s, booklets, & templates) and I found it a little outdated. I did learn some things and received some helpful tips and suggestions such as: how to get the density I was trying to achieve by venting in deliberate directions and skipping holes. That little tidbit was very useful. But I’m sure there are new tools and techniques, like those venting hooks. I like the German needle best but I am curious about those hooks. You may have tried them and could share that information or any other info you learned after making those dvd’s. Or you could do a part two of the lace wig training if you have new info and give people who bought your first kit a discount for the updates.

Hi Marquetta:
Congratulations on 2 successful careers. I am so happy for your release from military service. I would like to see DVD’s on styling children’s hair. I’m sure that most of your market repesents women who are moms. It would be great to have some cute braided hair styles for children.
Otherwise, I am still thinking the fitness DVD would be great too. I know it is a different thing, but with your daily dedication to physical fitness you could inspire us alot.

July 21st, 2009 at 11:39 am
Thank you and Congratulations! You are not a quitter by any means. It’s obvious that you loved both your careers and I think it must have been a hard decision to make. Do what you love and if you happen to be great at it, Yeah! to us who benefit from your knowledge. As a total novice to braids, your videos have been so fun and informative to me, so keep on doing what makes you happy.
Peace, Love and Happiness to you and yours.
July 21st, 2009 at 11:40 am
First Congrats!!!!! God has kept you safe. Continue to let him guide you through everything you do and continue to love him, yourself, and your family. I would like to see more of your lace wig technique. I am a hairstylist but I stopped got a little discouraged. I enjoyed your lace wig video, but unfortunately I am not working right now and I can’t afford your training cost.
God Bless
July 21st, 2009 at 11:43 am
Congratulations!
I think it is super cool that you want to impart some of your good fortune unto your customers.
Well, for me, in this economy, the cheaper the better has been my motto
.
Unfortunately, your last big sale, I was unable to take part, because money was still a bit to funny to release out for your excellent products, so for me, I would love if your lace wig and your wig dvd’s came back on the market at a wonderful giveaway price, with a bit of a longer sale, so as to allow for money to flow in, so that I can allow it to flow out to you
.
Well, that is my suggestion, I hope it is something that can come to pass, if not, I will continue to enjoy the products I have an await what will come down the pike in the future.
God bless, and the best of wishes to you and your family.
July 21st, 2009 at 12:00 pm

July 21st, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Congratulations go out to you! Your time served in the AFB is most definately appreciated by us U.S. citizens even if it’s not mentioned. I would suggest doing a 90 day plan to help with business success
July 21st, 2009 at 12:25 pm
I was in the Air Force for 12 years and was medically retired with lupus. (I’m fine and not having problems). While in the Air Force I was stationed at some locations that did not have options for black hair. My hair was ruined on more than one occassion by white stylist who claimed they knew how to work on “black” hair. I don’t have a specific plan on how you could do it, but I think you should do something to help black military women who are in locations where they don’t have access to shops and/or people to help them with their hair care.
July 21st, 2009 at 12:45 pm
Hey Marquetta, I have followed you for years, always trying to keep up with what’s going on. First I commend you for your valor and servitude to our country. God bless you! I have been wanting to get you series of DVD’s for years I just couldn’t afford it, I even tried when you had that awesome sale, something came up and I couldn’t get it. So I would love to one day own a set. I have 2 girls of my own and I watch you-tube a lot to get to learn how to braid there hair, and I recently took guardianship of 2 more girls, so it’s hair, hair, and more hair
. Even from the short clips of training dvd’s you show online I can see that you love what you do and have a knack for teaching and I know that whatever you do will be a success, I’ve seen the testimonials of all the people you’ve helped to become independent by learning to do hair. Kudos on everything!
July 21st, 2009 at 12:45 pm
Marquetta You are such a NEAT person !! I had no idea you were in the Air Force! You are certainly multi-talented!
What I would like to see then is a movie of you flying a fighter jet, before you get out !! That would be terrific. As far as what to do next, I think the idea that people have suggested about your offering an in-person course on hair design sometime would be great.
You are much loved by us all.
July 21st, 2009 at 12:51 pm
I congratulate you on all your accomplishments, your marriage and children. I thank you for the service you have given to this country. I hope God continue to keep your husband safe and brings him home to his family, as well as all public service men and women. Hopefully one day with all our sacrifices and prayers this will be a better world.

Greetings Marquetta….I commend you on making the decision to get out of the Air Force and deciding to make a full time committment to doing what you really love. I have been following your E-mails and admiring how you have built a business for yourself and your family, but most importantly how you are reaching out to help others who inspire to do the same. I would like to become an expert at making and cutting lace wigs, however, I have no experience cutting hair and I am not a beautician. Would you recommend someone that is not a beautician to enter a business of this sort. I would love for you to do a hair cutting video. Thanks for all you do. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Congratulations on your decision with getting out of the military. I am a retired military spouse myself who met and married my husband in Charleston, SC over 20 years ago. I attended Farah’s School of beauty right there in the heart of downtown Charleston. My husband’s Navy career has been a blessing to my cosmetology career. I have obtained licenses in over 10 states and have learned how to do all ethnicities of hair. I just retired from doing hair behind the chair and I am onto another journey/chapter in my cosmetology career. I ordered your lace wig making system, although I had been doing intense studies for years about wig making. I knew most of what I had purchased from you and I was able to get a few other pointers as well. I have quite a few things on the table in this industry and you will hopefully being hearing about me one day. I just completed my Master Educators training and I will be taking my state board soon, so wish me luck! I have been asked by many people in my industry to make some instructional videos and sell them online but I always felt that if I did that, I would be selling out my sisters who were out there in the hair game, so I didn’t want to go that route. Although there are plenty of DVD’s and you tube hair videos floating around out there, I didn’t want to add to the filthy pool selling out my profession for a quick buck. Instead I will use my talents and experiences to educate the professional so that he/she can make a successful career in hair, skin, and nails and I will teach them how to correct all the mistakes that the kitchen beauticians have made. Well enough of me. God bless you on your next milestone in life.
Peace & Blessing

HI,
I was wondering ….have you ever thought about branching out into cosmetics…i was thinking about foundations that flatter different shades of black skin from ebony to brown sugar and beyond….you know beautiful hair and beautiful healthy looking black complexion all shades of it.
Another thing is iam not too crazy about this virgin indian hair thing i do not want to wear other peoples hairs….i would rather have a naural looking environmentally friendly synthetic weave…work on that girl.
You are very authentic very down to earth and i appreciate that God Bless you and yours.

Hi Marquetta,
I am huge fan of yours, and I have just got deep into having this great idea of doing hair braiding and weaving along with wig making. I just love your work, but there is one style that I would love to see you do, a 27-piece hair style. I’m sure if you would consider that to be a quick weave or what. Along with doing a couple styles of flat twist, double strand twist, and double knot twist. I have developed this great idea of getting into hair because I am about to get laid off from my job and I have told myself that I will not work for another company unless it’s my own. You have inspired me to develope getting into this field of interest. I’ve been practicing and practicing and that makes perfect. Now that I will have plenty of time on my hands I’m going to be more dedicated. Please include a style of “zig zag” cornrows. This video caught me off guard but it’s a quite bit of styles I would like to include. Trust me you will here from me again. I will be joining in the Insiders Club and I will be purchasing your Lace Wig Training System pretty soon, so be looking for me. Keep up the good work and be true to all of your endevors. Love Always, Camille Holloway

Praise the Lord Marquetta,
Thank you and Congratulations for your service to our country and to us women.
Since you always look so polished, I would like to see a make-up line for women of color that covers every skin tone without the ashiness we sometimes get.
I would also like you to write a book telling us specifically which products to use for certain hair problems and conditions. Maybe you can even create your own line of natural hair and skin care products that really work.
You have made quite a reputation for yourself and I would buy your products.
May God continue to abundantly bless you and your family and kiss you mother for me.

Thanks!

MARQUETTA,
I was so excited to comment I forgot to tell you. I made a decision to braid my own hair due to the shortage of money. I sat in the mirror of 5 hours and put my hair in Kinky Twist. They are beautiful. I have a lot of people comment on it and take my business card. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Hey Marquetta, I just saw your video, well I can’t really say what I would like for you to do because I’m not really familiar with what all you’re doing already, however I do know this I have been so depressed, and you have made me feel like I already know you personally, your personality has a way of lifting spirits and I say that because I read some of the other comments, and I can tell that you have encouraged several people as well as myself. The best thing I can say is just keep doing what you’re doing you are touching so many lives in a positive way.
August 9th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
Hi Marquetta, I am so proud for you and your family on your accomplishments, without you being informative as you are I would be lost in the hair care and braids department. What I would like to see is a video on how to do low cut frontal wigs for men and how they should wear them. I had a friend the other day that wears his head bald say, he wish he could do something different and I thought about you. May God continue to bless you on your new successes!
August 13th, 2009 at 12:56 pm

Hi Marquetta,
Congratulations on all that you have accomplished and May God Bless you with your hearts desire.
Marquetta, I’m a First Lady at my Chruch and I’m always concerned about my hair. I haven’t found a good beautician, I know how to do weave and braids, and I’ve even tried the half wigs. I need something that looks good and will last longer and fit every occasion. What whould you suggest?
Thanks
Kaye Thomas
August 15th, 2009 at 6:48 pm
Hello Marquetta,
I just wanted to say “Thank You” for your service to our country.
Like Ms. Kaye Thomas, I too need a hairdo that will last long and fit every occasion as I am in ministry as well. When I moved to this area, I had a full head of healthy hair and I have tried a few beauticians in my area, to no avail my hair has become thin with bald spots in the crown of my head. I would like to see via videos different options of hairstyles for my hair situation besides the front lace wig.

Wow, I did not know that! My spouse is active duty Air Force and I reside in Japan now we are moving to Germany. My father is retired Air Force and so on. But it’s awesome to know that you did not wait to start your business.
