In today's world, wigs are taking a backseat to partial hair additions. Partial hair additions use the skin or existing hair as anchor sites. If your skin is used as the anchor site, adhesives, waterproof liquids and two-sided tape are used to attach the additional hair.

One of the main shortcomings of partial hair additions is their price tag. The price for custom-made hair additions can range from $750 to $2,500. Additionally, you must maintain two hairpieces, one to wear and the other to be restyled. Though they are costly to maintain, their beauty is well worth the price.

Modern wigs and hair extensions provide attractive, natural alternatives to hair transplants. When cared for properly, they will allow you to enjoy a beautiful head of hair for a lifetime.
