Bad Hair Manners

When it comes to good manners, the main idea is to not offend other people by your behavior. Hair is no exception!

1) Combing your hair at the dining table is never a good idea, as this may lead to stray hair in food. Similarly, playing with your hair in public also falls under the label of 'bad manners'.

2) Plucking your eyebrows in public places and leaving stray hair in the sink after combing are definite hair "no's". Although many people are unaware that they leave hair wrapped around the bar of soap after a bath, this can be very annoying to a roommate or spouse.

3) Playing with other people's hair without their permission can often invite a harsh response.

4) Chewing the ends of your hair is yet another aspect of bad hair manners.

5) Wearing hair rollers in public and careless maintenance of your wig or hair extensions are other forms of undesirable "hair behavior".

6) Going for long periods without washing your hair makes the scalp dirty and your hair might look unkempt. Make sure you shampoo regularly.

7) Changing your hairdo in public places may seem like an innocent act, but this too is bad manners.

If you want to project a proper social image, hair manners matter!
