How To Create Multiple Ponytails
Want to wear a multiple-ponytail style, but you're not quite sure where to begin? Here are the items you need for creating fabulous-looking multiple ponytails:
(1) Shine products or hair spray
(2) Hair wax or grease
(3) Hairbrush (preferably boar's hair)
(4) Hair decorations or jewelry
(5) Hair bungees or elastic bands
How to create the style:
- Brush the hair until it is smoothed and detangled.
- Take all of the hair from the top of your ears to your forehead and separate it into three equal sections. This will make three base ponytails.
- Brush each of the ponytails back into another mini-ponytail and tie an elastic band or hair bungee around the end. The elastic should be tight enough to hold the hair in place.
For a different look, hair bows can be pinned on top of each ponytail. The crown section of the hair can also be adorned with bows. When creating a multiple-ponytail style, it's not necessary to start with freshly-shampooed hair.
